The name “notesfromnokomis” is an amalgam of my favorite book in college: Notes from Underground, and my high school: Nokomis Regional High School.
My name is Bob Burpee. I am an attorney who loves sports, particularly baseball. I graduated from Harvard College and spent several years in business in the Boston area. Upon graduating from Suffolk University Law School, which I attended at night, I have worked at the Supreme Court of Ohio for over 20 years. I have a wonderful wife and two terrific sons, who like sports as much as I do. I plan to write on various topics that interest me and consider each post and the website a work in progress to be tweaked, improved, or deleted on my slightest whim.
